COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is an excellent way to prepare for the new and challenging concepts that are introduced in a typical Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus course.  For the Pre-Calculus portion of this program, students will learn about exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and rational functions where transformations of the functions and inverses will be included.  Other topics will include even/odd functions, conics and the behavior of functions including domain/range, extrema and increasing/decreasing notation.

For the trigonometry portion of the course, students will study angles and the unit circle, trig identities, trigonometric graphs and the solving of triangles and polar coordinates.
